I’m just curious
I have a lot of friends that are home schooled, and a few of them desperately want to go to public school, but their parents won’t let them (for various reasons). Some of the reasons I don’t really understand very well.

So– would you let them go to public school? Why or why not?
But why not? Just so he could graduate a year early?

I live in Canada. I’m debating whether to be home schooled for one year and that’s it. How much would a tutor cost? If I am home schooled it will just be for the next grade and then I’ll go to public school again next year.

My daughter wants to enroll in a home school program but she is in gifted at her school. If we take her out of school and we place her in a home school program, well she loose her space in the gifted program. If not what program can I place her in and if so how will they know where to place her. What programs are there available for her that have gifted and are virtual or that I don’t have to actually teach her. Just like Abeka Academy or Florida Virtual School.

I am in tenth grade. I recently broke my foot and have been on crutches for eight weeks. Being on crutches it is difficult to get around school. If I re-brake my foot, I’m going to be home-schooled. Can I be home-schooled for only a quarter? Also, how do I get started?
